Janco`s first soloalbum, Pumpingstein, was produced & recorded by Janco & Rob Alien and released in 2000. The music was classified as "spacepop" with a soft blend of bands like Alphaville, Roxette and Guns n`roses.
All songs were recorded with very limited resources in Janco`s homestudio back in 1999/2000.
Little did Janco know, that lead guitarist & live technician Rob Alien was living in the apartment right next door to him. As soon as they met, Rob was invited over and they started jamming and making their first songs together.
One night Torine Brunton, a female singer who grew up with and went to the same elementary school as Janco in their youth, appeared on Janco`s liveshows as a guest artist performing "Bridge over troubled water" and the crowd went wild. Janco got goosebumps and asked her if she would kindly sing backing vocals on the ballad "The fallen rain". Totally blown away by her performance, it was obvious that she had to do the lead vocal as well. The song received more than 10 "Best Female Vocals"-awards on garageband.com.
